How to spend for 4 days in Budapest – part II

My darlings, I promised you in the last article that we will continue together the adventure through Budapest. I’ll tell you again: I like to indulge myself. But it looks like the team over at Madison Perfumery, know that too. How? The exclusive perfumery did not limit to our country and open a place in Budapest where you can also receive cosmetic treatments. I was delighted to accept the invitation and enjoy an extraordinary facial treatment. But I couldn’t leave empty handed and of course I bought the newest Kilian perfume that became my favorite.

But the shopping session wasn’t over. I could not miss the most famous shopping street in Budapest. The Andrassy Route is known by locals as the Hungarian Champs-Elysse and the entire area is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The Andrássy Way is divided into four parts. The section between Erzsébet Square and Oktogon is dominated by world-famous luxury brands. In addition to the haute-couture stores, you will also find the Opera, the “Broadway of Pest” and the Liszt Ferenc Square. Another thing  that I liked here is the existence of art galleries, but also of cafes that occasionally host various exhibitions. Of course I could not leave this gorgeous city until I had a cup of coffee at the café of the family who owns Baltazar Hotel.

And if we’re talking about hotels, for the second part of my trip I chose to stay elsewhere, as I told you in the last article. I get bored quickly in the same place so I changed the landscape by staying at Aria Hotel Budapest. I did my homework well before coming here and found out that the hotel won the TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice award in 2017 and is known to have the best Wellness and Spa center all over Europe. Aria Hotel has its own interesting story as well- the story of the music. The hotel is an architectural masterpiece featuring luxury suites that commemorate famous artists such as Maria Callas, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix and composers such as Mozart. I loved the hotel’s rooftop garden with a 360-degree view over the city .

That’s all! This is where our adventure in Budapest ends. I challenge you to visit this wonderful city that seems to be avoided by Romanian tourists (probably because it is close enough), but I can guarantee you that it can compete with any European capital. I look forward to read your comments on your Budapest experience and other suggestions for places to be seen.
